The migu player + room (2025)

Role: Artist, Designer, Developer

A website built as an object — an alternative machine for listening to the soundtracks I have written. You enter a room: a television, a tape recorder and a player sitting on a tiled floor, where every object is a way further in and nothing is a menu.

The player itself is photographed rather than drawn: a black handheld case with brass keys, a track name punched into a metal plate, and handwritten notes taped over its face. Each score it holds — Fragments, Aggregate, Fallcore, ST4R — comes with its own note, in pen, about what the work was and who it was made with. Nothing is explained by an interface. You press something, and it answers.
